In April I received an email from my supervisor, Rev. George Marchinkowski, with my three preaching assignments for the summer. The first sermon I was to deliver was in a series called, "Help! The End of the World Is Coming! A Series on the Book of Revelation." My text was Revelation 6, with the subtitle, "Great Destruction is Part of What's Coming!"
I thought, surely this is a joke. But no, it was not. Hence the web address of this blog. Well, the time for that sermon has come and gone. I have uploaded it to YouSendIt.com, where it can be downloaded up to 100 times in the next 7 days (it is Thursday, June 26th, at the moment).
